The owner of Kikili Beach House — Hen Tatham — has lived in Sri Lanka and owned the property for over 15 years and has had the same wonderful house manager and chef, the delightful Kumara, who tends to guests’ needs with discretion and style. Nothing is too much trouble for him or for Hen and together they make sure your stay at Kikili Beach is a delight.

Sleeping arrangements comprise one large, sumptuous bedroom with four poster bed, aircon and ensuite shower bathroom. Quality linen, feather pillows and good towels go without saying. For the little ones we have a super-comfy, pull out mattress with the same quality bedding.
Kumara will do a welcome shop so the kitchen is well stocked on arrival. We are food lovers and he is an excellent cook, knows where all the best fresh seafood comes from, homemade breads, organic salads etc. Alcoholic and soft drinks are readily available in the local shops. Kikili is a memorable sundowner spot!
There is plenty of space in the living room and garden for a family but usually Kikili is for two. We have a lovely, small pool which is deep so keeps cool, an ambalamba (place to rest) with double bed to watch the ocean, turtles bobbing and sunsets. Also a swing seat and hammock, sunloungers and plenty of shade.
